$95,000?!

I read the most interesting story the other day. It has been floating around the internet for awhile, but I only read it recently. Check it out if you have an hour or so to spare, cause it is a bit of a long read.

Work is exceedingly boring today. I will actually be glad to do the receptionist thing today. At least I get to smile charmingly (rofl) and take payments.

So far today I’ve talked to two people who didn’t have time to talk, one guy who was having phone line problems, and three people who owe us money. In a row. Pay your bill, people.

Looks like I will spend 45 min. perusing Tech Comedy, then go to lunch. I’m not really hungry, so maybe I will stay and post. This freaking blog is getting huge, but I care not!

Maybe I will crawl my favorite forum waiting to swoop on unsuspecting posters. Whee!

I feel like a buzzard sometimes.

Yay looks like I am going to get a few calls. Two spyware calls in a row. People who create spyware programs should be flogged, caned, boiled in oil and otherwise tortured. Die bastards.

MAJOR rant.

It annoys me when people ask for money. Not because I am stingy, in most situations I am pretty generous. However, if someone pisses away all their money then comes begging to me for something they really don’t need, I get royally annoyed. Just because they are too stupid to manage their own money does not mean I have a need to be open-handed with them. If you had a real problem, like your car got stolen or your house burned down, I might be a little more giving. THAT is a real need. But when you spend all your money on strippers, beer or Twinkies and then need gas money, you can walk for all I care. There is no way in hell I am giving you money. Bought too many magazines, games or movies and now cannot pay your car payment or rent? Save your sob story for someone who cares.

Learn to manage your own money. You are not getting a cent of mine, even if you promise to pay it back.

Morons.
