Recently (over the past few months) there have been rumors here and there that the draft would be reinstated in 2005, causing young men 18-26 to be drafted. I thought about it a bit, thinking that if the draft was reinstated, and my husband was drafted, I would simply enlist. However, as you will see in the link above, the rumors were a hoax, so it’s a moot point.

I have honestly considered enlisting in the past, but it would not go over well, with my husband or my family. Who knows though, what the future will bring?
