It’s been a fairly uneventful day. My site was down for part of the day, so no updates were done. I am resolving that now however. The index page has a few new pictures in rotation. I really like altering pictures in Photoshop to make them look different. I like to pretend that I am creative.
On a slightly more irritating note, I am going to end up reformatting my HDD tonight, because I have been getting a plethora of errors the last few days. I am backing up my massive amounts of data, then possibly tonight start the lovely reformatting process.
I think I am mostly out of my hormonal slump, we will see what the weekend brings in order to be certain, but I have cheered up significantly.
Ya know, I really do not understand people who claw each other’s eyes out on the day after Thanksgiving over the few hours of sales that the stores have. Personally, I would not drag my lazy butt out of bed at 5am in order to save a few bucks on something I probably do not need anyway. Every year save this one, I hear stories about the massive crowds, the pushing and anger accompanied with the purchase of really cheap stuff, and I wonder what the appeal is. I would rather spend the extra cash and be able to shop in peace, than to save 50 dollars and have to whack some old lady over the head with my purse over a blender. On second thought, whacking people over the head does sound somewhat appealing. Yeah, save your stories for someone who shares your pain. It’s like telling someone “Yeah, I went to the Superbowl, and I wasn’t expecting bad traffic and a big crowd!!”. I don’t know, I am just in rant mode today I guess. I get this way every year on…well…the day after Thanksgiving, on Easter, on Halloween, and Valentine’s day…oh, and pretty much every other day except my birthday.
Ho Hum. I have to finish some laundry and hope that my data backup finishes soon. Sheesh.
