Vehicular Homicide

Looks like I just may be getting that car this weekend. My bank approved the loan and my dad wants to buy my current car, so I am set. Hopefully the car does not turn out to be a a piece of junk when I test drive it on Saturday. My husband is more excited about the car than I am I think. He is already talking about how we will be fighting over the car keys, hehe. It will at least be a large enough car for him to feel comfortable in.

Speaking of my husband, you have to check out what he bought me the other day:

Isn’t he cute?

At any rate, I am wasting time that I should be spending getting ready for work.

Bye!

I find it really, really stupid that some peope rely on dial-up internet service for school, work, reports and various “crucial” things. A lot of times “crucial” means that they have a poker game scheduled or an item on Ebay that they are watching, but sometimes, these idiots really do depend on something as completely unreliable as dial-up for things that are very important to them. Seriously people, make hard copies of your stuff. Don’t try to submit online tests over dial-up. Don’t complain about the connection speed when you are attempting to retrieve a 4 Mb PDF over a 28.8k connection. Give me a freaking break. Kid got a report due? Go to the library if your precious connection is too slow, or move a little closer to civilization and get some broadband.

I can understand complaining about dial-up connection speed. It sucks. Everyone knows that. However, if you are stupid enough to rely on it for anything even remotely important, I have no sympathy. Morons.

I sent off for my high school transcripts today, so I can go ahead with talking a math class at the community college. It is not going to cost much, and I can possibly start to master a few mathematical concepts. I have always had a difficult time with math, even though I excelled at other subjects. My dad was always a math guru, but I never shared his passion for numbers. I married a bit of a math whiz as well, so I think I will have plenty of help learning the material, if I can get past the paralyzing fear of opening a math textbook.

I am also thinking of taking either a World Religion course or taking piano lessons once a week, just for fun.

Time to finish laundry (I think I am always doing laundry) and head to bed.

Farewell.
