I feel surprisingly great after last night…whew..
Well, let me start at the beginning.
Yesterday, of course, was my birthday. I spent the first half at the salon, getting a massage, a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. I felt pretty relaxed and pampered after that. My toes look good in pink too. :)
After that, my husband (who we will call Bob) and I went out to eat with my parents. I had the best catfish I have had in a long time. Mmmm…I’m still hungry for it. :) My parents gave me a pretty card and 50.00 for my birthday.
Later one we went to a local bar to kill time before we headed to the strip club (that was the plan anyway…I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to go to the strip club…I may still get my chance!!). I started out with a Yaeger Bomb, followed by a few other drinks with varying degrees of alcohol content. I was feeling pretty good after a couple, and joined in to the pool game that Bob and our friend CerXo were playing. His birthday is today, so I invited him out, because his birthdays usually suck too. Anyway, I kicked ass at pool last night, every game I played! I didn’t win them all, but they were all close, and I was pulling off some excellent shots. After the last game I announced that I would not play anymore, because I was toasty. I also ran into a friend from work who shares the same birthday, so that was awesome.
Anyway, I finished off the night (and myself) with a Screwdriver (a really yummy one). We left and came home, where I promptly threw up and collapsed in the hallway. The rest is kind of fuzzy, but I knew I could not go to the strip bar without making a complete ass of myself, so I apparently told Bob and CerXo to go without me. From the sound of the stories Bob told when he got home, they had fun. I am really glad CerXo had fun, and Bob did not seem to hate it too much, so I may still go to a strip bar once in my life. :)
Either way, I surprisingly do not have even a hint of a hangover this fine day, maybe because I took an aspirin before drinking. I dunno, but yesterday was a good birthday.
