Coinage

I’m going to brave the traffic and try out Coinstar tonight. It seems like a very convenient thing to use, and worth the cost (8.9 cents on the dollar) for me. I tend to pay a lot for convenience to be honest, without even thinking about it. Fast food, carpet cleaning, full service gas and car pickup for service are my conveniences of choice. Not to mention online banking and automatic billpay, depositing my paychecks via ATM and using a check card for almost all my purchases. Yes, I am a convenience junkie. I take the risks of electronic management of finances, pay to have people do my taxes…the list goes on and on. If I can hire someone to do something for me at a reasonable cost, I will do it. A lot of people cannot imagine hiring someone to do something that they can do themselves, but I cannot imagine doing something myself that I can hire someone to do. I haven’t reached the point where I send out my laundry or hire taxis to drive me around, but I am sure once I have enough money I will do that too. I am laaazzzyyy. I would make a really great spoiled rich girl. Even though I never had much luxury growing up, I was the baby and was spoiled quite a bit. I had to do very few chores, was not pressed to clean my room and didn’t go to public school (due to religious reasons and travelling a lot), so I slept in and did my school work and chores at my leisure. Not to say I did not have battles with my parents…they were not that indulgent..I was just that lazy and they did not push the issue to the extreme. I know I should be more self sufficent, but it’s too much fun to be lazy. woohoo. :)
