I went to the doctor today. I have a strained Achilles tendon, and have to wear an Ace bandage for a couple of weeks. Not so much a big deal, except that it hurts like hell.

Now, I am sitting dumbly at my laptop, trying to think of something witty to say. I was talking to my dad today, and he said he missed my wit and cleverness. I informed him that I really have none of that left to give. I used to think of myself as pretty witty and smart, but the truth was, I was never challenged enough as a child to really sharpen my mind skills. I was cheated, man!! Regardless, I still come up with a tidbit occasionally that makes people laugh, and that’s enough for me…just to see people smile. Ugh, I sound like such a hippie.
