I was floating aimlessly around the web yesterday, and happened upon The Supr.c.ilio.us Web 2.0 Joke List. Half of these only make sense if you have been using/studying/blogging Web 2.0 for awhile, but I found the whole list to be hilarious. One of these days, when I am getting paid a huge amount of money blogging for Google from my Acer Ferrari, I will make a Web 2.0 joke list of my own, that all bloggers will read and admire…

Ok, I am back on earth now. :)

SuprGlu

You can now view a collaboration of several of my projects and sites on one page, via SuprGlu. I found this when I happened upon A Blog From Studentdom, which bounced me over to Ehub, a Web 2.0 directory. I had seen a link to her site on Solution Watch's write up concerning the Web 2.0 Workgroup (excellent site!!). I have been bouncing all over, trying every Web 2.0/Ajax site I can, feeling out the functionality, and seeing where it takes me. It's refreshing to see an ever-growing niche of clutter-free, fast, and functional sites. At any rate, SuprGlu is quite nice. It allows you to insert just about any personal RSS feed to make a collage of your accounts for all to see. You can find mine here.

Zoto

It may sound like a baked dish from an Italian cafe, but Zoto is even better than that. Zoto is the latest in a crop of Web 2.0 photo-sharing sites. Following in the steps of Flickr, Zoto offers a basic free account, tagging, an uploading tool, and advanced privacy settings. A free account offers 2gb of space + unlimited uploading. A paid account, which IMO is a bit pricy at 44.95 per year, offers even more privacy options, and 5gb of space for your photos. Zoto focuses on photoblogging, as well as sharing across the Zoto Community and beyond. Tagging is not quite as simple as with other sites, but definately goes above and beyond in functionality. You can even set viewing permissions with a tag! The site's design is typical Web 2.0; pretty and blocky, using Ajax for about half of the functions on the site. This makes navigating the site nearly seamless. I am just beginning my playtime with Zoto, but so far, I love what I see.
