My dear husband brought a wonderful program to my attention this week. Camtasia (by TechSmith) is a screen recorder/capture program that is perfect for creating tutorials. It automatically records audio (or you can splice it in later), and has many awesome features like a menu-maker, and the ability to export to a variety of formats.
The full program is not cheap. However, if you are serious about making learning materials, or you are in a business that requires intensive training, Camtasia is well worth it. To play around with, you can download a trial version.
