Even with all the fanfare and controversy surrounding Brokeback Mountain , it really was a very good movie. The plot was strong, the acting was flawless from just about everyone, and the story was intense and heartbreaking. I like movies that make you feel what the characters feel, that sweep you up in the story and make you so enthralled that you cannot stop watching until the end credits. Brokeback did that for me. Yes, it was about two cowboys who just happen to have sex with one another, but it was more about how love can blindside you sometimes, and you can't always control who you care about.

Looking past the obvious trouble some people would have with the fact that it portrays two men in a romantic relationship, it was a very good movie, and I highly recommend it.
