Playtagger

I love music. I love listening to music, sharing music, going to concerts…you name it. If it's a about music, I love the whole experience. However, the sharing aspect of my muscial world has been limited by the RIAA restrictions on copyrighted media files. I now get a lot of my music from an inexpensive (NOT iTunes) download site, and use websites like Webjay to share my musical tastes with others.

Stumbling the "music" tag today, I found something that might be useful for the del.icio.us user, or anyone who would like to include one or two music files on thier site without embedding a bulky player. This service is called "playtagger " and is installed with a small bit of javascript.

From the site:

Play Tagger allows you to easily play mp3 files directly on your website or blog. Simply include a tiny javascript, and your mp3 links will automatically become playable right on the page. In addition, your visitors will have the opportunity to easily tag and post the mp3 link to del.icio.us. This script is extremely lightweight, as is the flash movie that plays on demand.
