Looking back
I’ve never been the best.
I’ve never been one of the cool crowd.
I’ve never been the pretty one.
I’ve never been the smart one.
I’ve never been the skinny one.
I’ve never been the talented one.
I’ve never been the rich one.
I’ve never been the good one.
I’ve never been the lucky one.
Maybe the spoiled one, or the easy one…
Maybe the short one or the one with long hair…
Maybe the religious one…
Maybe the home-schooled one…
Always the odd one and the shy one…
Always the one who makes mistakes.
I’ll never be the perfect one, so I guess I’ll have to be me.

i press my hands over my ears
to shut out the sounds
i shut my eyes
to block out the sights
they wont leave
so i run
i hit a wall…i turn…
walls…everywhere
where are you?
why arent you here?
i run thru black mists
searching, searching…
i see a light

the brink of insanity

I helped a friend of mine with a photoshoot tonight. The shoot was of a girl I think is really beautiful. It went rather well, I think. We will have to see how all the pictures come out. He also gave me a scanner for my laptop so I can put some print pictures from mine and my husband childhood online.
I’m feeling kind of drained at the moment, or I would certainly be doing so homework. Ah well.
