Miami Vice was pretty boring for an action movie. Between the long stretches of film dedicated to Colin Farrell's character "getting the girl", and a bunch of guys standing around looking serious, something was lost in the making. There really wasn't any substance to the movie at all, and the acting left a lot to be desired. Don't waste your money on this crappy movie. It really did not echo the TV show at all.
