As expected, the Virginia Tech killer was bat-shit crazy. Apparently, he had issues with teachers and rich kids (don't we all?). It's understandable to be angry about the people around you, to have compulsions to be violent, but this guy did not seem that rational. To me, it seemed that he wanted to make a statement, and this was the only way he felt would make a big enough impact. From the bits I've picked up from his tapes and writings, he really did not know how to channel his anger in a (constructive) way. Maybe he should have played some violent video games!
