It was another fun-filled weekend at my parents' new home. My husband and I went to set up a wifi network, so it would be ready for the satellite internet connection to be installed tomorrow. It was a slightly stressful day, with a few things going wrong, and lots of dirt and sweat. :)

Dad had to kill a little rattlesnake that was making his journey across the yard (on a mission to murder us all, no doubt), so that was a bit of pants-pissing excitement for us.

We started setting up the stuff around 5pm, but didn't finish until after 10pm. There were several complications that required the use of power tools and hammers, an access point that did not want to cooperate with the wireless router, and all the little quirks in between.

The end result was quite nice, however. I am looking forward to introducing my parents to the joys of Broadband!
