I'm sure there are a lot of charts and calculators for calculating blood alcohol content, but this one at You Got Insured seemed pretty simple and easy to use. Before going out to party, know you limits and stick to them!
This calculator will calculate your approximate blood alcohol level. Your actual intoxication depends on many factors, and so this should be considered an ESTIMATE. DO NOT use this calculator to determine if it is safe for you to drive.
In all 50 states, it is illegal to drive with a blood alcohol level of .08% or higher. Some states include lesser penalties for driving with a lower blood alcohol level.
How this calculator works:
- For men, blood alcohol level increases 3.75% per drink divided by weight in pounds.
- For women, this is 4.5% per drink divided by weight.
- For both sexes, blood alcohol level decreases about .016% per hour.
- 1 "drink" = 1/2 oz of pure alcohol. Most actual drinks have more alcohol than that.

What am I suggesting here? Exactly what it says. If people want to have kids, they should be required to take a competency test. The test would ask some questions to make sure that the person wasn't a complete dumbass. Also, you have to be rich enough to have kids. If you can't afford 5 kids, then don't have 5 kids. 'The hell's wrong with people? You have to make a choice: kids or career? You can't have both. My old manager used to bring his baby into work during the day. Now if you have a 3 or 4 year old, or older, it's one thing if you bring your kid in every once in a while. But a baby?
Come on people, think. Work is no place to bring a loud, shrieking, obnoxious baby. Have some consideration for others. Pull your head out of your ass, and start taking care of your kid like it deserves to be taken care of. We have enough kids coming into the world and having to be raised in a broken family. Sure, it's not as simple as that, but holy shit. I just don't get it. How can people be so damn stupid?
You know, it's an irreversible process. I figure that the number of stupid people are growing exponentially. Stupid people don't think before they have sex, hence another unforseen child. Well, if they were too stupid to not use protection, chances are that they're too stupid to know how to take care of a child correctly. The child grows up stupid and lacking dicipline, finds someone stupid that came up the same way and has a kid or fifteen with this newly found dumbass. More new kids, again and again and so on and so forth.
People should be required to take a test before they have kids. Or we should limit the number of kids people can have to force them to give their attention to their kids to make sure that their kids don't grow up to be idiots like their parents.
