AFK

September 24, 2007 :: General ::

I am likely to be away from the internet for a few days. I received the news last night that my brother was killed in a car accident.

    I’m saddened to read about his passing away. I know this must be a really tough moment for you… but, I want you to know that I’ll be thinking about you in your mourning.

    I don’t even know what to say. Your spiritual beliefs are so different from my own, but I hope it still provides you some comfort to know that I’ll be praying for you and the family, and especially that I care. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.

    Hey… I just read your site for the first time in a while, apparently.. I try to keep up at least 2 times a week, but I guess with all the stuff going on here, it must have been considerably longer.

    Sorry about what happened. I’m proud of you for holding together, but remember, it is okay to come apart sometimes too…! I am certain that Bob’ll help you with that… he’s wonderful at knowing how you work! :)

    I pray that this does bring you closer to defining your belief system and finding God better, but I know it is a difficult thing and cannot imagine what you are going through.

    You are in our thoughts & prayers!!!! I am sorry I did not make contact before this :(

    Really sorry to hear about your loss. My beliefs probably align closely with yours, however, no one has a monopoly on grief and suffering, regardless of their belief, therefore I will say to you that you will question yourself, you will have bad dreams, you will find other people don’t seem to have the patience to sit through the storm you might bring, but your strength lies in your wit, your ability to think uninhibited by outside pressures to mold your perspective, and in your ability to find a focal point in all the chaos.

    I won’t say I will pray for you, because I won’t, but I will say I will personally help you any way I can if you need it.
