I’m staying with my mom this evening, as she doesn’t like staying alone when my dad is out of town on business, and no one else was available to stay with her. She only lives about 13 miles from me, so it’s no big undertaking, I just have to get out of bed a tad bit earlier in the mornings. This was an especially nice evening, however, because I relaxed in my parents’ hot tub/spa by myself for a couple of hours while my mom chatted on the phone with various family members and talked about a recent visit with a friend. Once upon a time, coming to my parents’ was stressful to say the least, but they pretty much leave the touchy subjects alone anymore.

I’m relaxed and ready for sleepy-time.
