Speech class is finally over! I got an A in the class, which gives me a 4.0 GPA overall now. I’m pretty happy about that. If it will carry over with my other classes, I have no idea.

My next venture, which starts in a little over a week, is Sociology. I have no idea how well I’m going to do in this class, so I am a little nervous about it.

That’s not going to stop me though, I need to get through these classes, and the sooner the better.

One thing I like about only having the time and funds to take one class per session (semester), is that I can really focus and learn from the class. I can dig in and possibly not only walk away with the credits needed, but the knowledge derived from the class that may help me be a more well rounded person.

While it’s not required, I am seriously thinking about taking Philosophy for fun during the fall semester.

I think it would be really interesting to learn about different schools of thought in a more structured environment.
